Directed by Lucas Castro, “Passagem” marks the graduation of nine artists from the Professional Course in Circus Arts at Instituto Cultural CircoLar, symbolizing a moment of transition in their careers.
More than a performance, it is a collective rite, in which each artist brings to the stage an original act, full of experiences, aesthetic choices, and techniques developed throughout their training.
Between acts, the artists share ideas, stories, concerns, and achievements. This alternation between word and gesture transforms the show into a mosaic of trajectories: multiple voices that intertwine to compose a common narrative. Passagem speaks of farewells and new beginnings. It is a celebration of what has been lived and, at the same time, an affirmation that the path of the circus is continuous. Always in motion, always under construction. In the stage, body and word meet to announce not only the end of na act, but the opening of many others.
